Most of the calendar is yours, not the government’s. The official processing clock is thirty to sixty days, and it does not start until the file is complete. The stages before it move at the pace you set, which is usually decided by how ready your source-of-funds documentation is. We tell you this up front because the firms that promise a fixed date are quoting the part they do not control.

01Day 0 · 60 minutes
The strategy session.
A confidential call, direct with the advisor, to scope your file and confirm Vanuatu is the right tool. We ask the hard questions early: your corridor, your reporting exposure, your timeline. If it is not the right fit, you hear that here, before the file opens and before any program money moves. 02Days 1–3
Engagement and application opening.
You engage the firm formally, and your file is opened under a single named contact who carries it to the end. No call-center handoffs, no anonymous queue. One person who knows your file by name.

Source-of-funds assembly.
The stage that decides your timeline. We assemble the Bitcoin provenance documentation, the identity documents, and the civil records the application requires. For a Bitcoiner this is the real work, and it is work we have done many times. This is where careful preparation pays for itself twice: once for the file, and again the first time a bank asks the same question.

04Submission
Due diligence submission.
The completed file is submitted to the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit and the Citizenship Office. This is the vetting the European Union once said was too light; we treat it as the product, which is why our files are built to clear it without a second request.

Government processing.
The official window. The government conducts its background checks and review. This is the part with a real clock on it, and at thirty to sixty days it is one of the fastest citizenship paths in its class. There is nothing for you to do here but wait; we monitor and update you.

06On approval · one visit
Approval, biometrics, and oath.
The letter of approval is issued, and the file’s one in-person step happens here: a short biometric enrolment session for fingerprint and facial-image capture, required under the Passport Amendment Act 2025, at Port Vila, Dubai, Hong Kong, or New Caledonia. No relocation and no residency; one visit, one afternoon. You then take the oath of allegiance to the Republic of Vanuatu before an authorized official. You are, at this point, a citizen.

07In hand
Passport issuance.
The certificate of registration and the passport are issued. Citizenship is permanent and hereditary; it passes to your children. The document is in hand, and the foundation is laid. What you build on it next is the subject of its own conversation.
